As evidence of the relationship between the English market and Flemish manuscript illumination, examines two English illuminated books of hours in the Biblioteca del Seminario of Padua that reveal the influence or participation of Flemish artists. Dates MS 161 to the mid-15th c. and proposes that it was produced in an English workshop but that the artist came from Bruges. Dates MS 141 to the early 16th c., and assigns it to an English workshop where both English and Flemish models were current.
