Abstract (en)

On the catalogue of the 1988 exhibition of Bolognese art, which illustrated the engagement of Bolognese artists with mythological, allegorical, and antiquarian subject matter, and included particularly small-scale works: drawings, engravings, nielli, medals, and plaquettes. The reviewer focuses on new perspectives on the Bolognese origins of Marcantonio Raimondi, noting Oberhuber's views on his biography and on his drawings. He also comments on clarifications concerning Ripanda.
