Abstract (en)

Authors propose that these panel paintings were originally destined for the Dominican priory at Thetford which was founded in 1335. Reviewer argues that the retable and frontal (Thornham Parva, S. Mary; and Paris, Musée de Cluny) more likely date 1310-1325 and were therefore intended for another location.
