Describes and interprets multiples by two Swiss artists: Not Vital's 1988 Untitled, an edition of 12 hand-carved marble 'binoculars' fitted into 12 old leather binocular cases; Marclay's 1987 Untitled, an edition of 12 grooveless 12-inch records placed in drawstring pouches of black suede.
