Abstract (en)
Examines a fragment with SS. Jerome and John the Evangelist from a print of the Crucifixion (New York, Metropolitan Museum) and its relationship to an anonymous late 15th c. Florentine engraving of the Crucifixion with the Virgin and Saints in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Discusses the Fine and Broad Manners in Florentine prints, and argues that most Broad Manner engravings, including the fragment under discussion, are attributable to Francesco Rosselli.
