Studies the Golden Harpsichord with figures of Polyphemus and Galatea, the sole surviving instrument from Todini's Galleria Armonica. Examines technical evidence afforded by the harpsichord (New York, Metropolitan Museum) and compares it with Todini's description of it and of the sordellina machine within the Polyphemus, a bellows-driven bagpipe played from a keyboard below that of the harpsichord.
