Brief presentation of two Spanish manuscripts in the library of the Hispanic Society, New York: MS B2417, a late 16th c. manuscript from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Copia de las Hierogliphicas que hizo la Universidad de Alcala, en la Canonizacion de Sancti Diego, which contains 37 full-page illustrations; and MS HC:397/397, the Hieroglificos de las Personas en Santidad excellentes... by Balthasar Porreño, 1625, with 115 half-page illustrations.
