On Donauer and his work, especially his mural decorations (ca.1585) for the Antiquarium of the Residenz, Munich, which include many views of German cities. Discusses his position as court painter to Wilhelm V von Bayern, and provides information on the Donauer family of painters 16th-17th cs.
