Describes the history, goals, and activities of the Frauen Museum, Bonn, founded in 1981. Also notes the recent development of a network of women's art organizations, including the International Association of Women in the Arts, which will stage its first exhibition and symposium devoted to contemporary women artists at the Frauenmuseum, October 1989.
