Discusses a holy water font which stood in Lothar Franz von Schönborn's bedroom in Pommersfelden (Graf von Schönborn-Wiesentheid collection). Argues for Italy as its place of origin, rather than southern Germany or Prague, and dates the piece to the first third of the 17th c.
