Focuses on a marble figure of S. Philip the Apostle in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nuremberg, which is a smaller scale copy of Mazzuoli's sculpture in S. Giovanni in Laterano, Rome. Proposes that this copy was made by the artist for presentation to his patron upon completion of the large-scale work.
