Publishes and discusses the text of a picture postcard sent from Macke to Marc in 1912. The postcard mentions the proceeds from the sale of several works by Macke and comments on plans of the art dealer, Herwarth Walden, to initiate an annual "Salon" of contemporary art in Berlin.
