Abstract (en)

Additional information from the scientific analysis of the painting, 1593-1595 (Stockholm, National Museum), by Lucas van Valckenborch and Georg Flegel, discussed in the Bulletin - Nationalmuseum 1989, 13, no. 2, p. 111-119. The new finding has revealed the presence of an hour glass beneath the overpainting of a wine glass and a flower vase.
