Reports on the traveling exhibition of 74 paintings and 26 drawings from the permanent collection of the National Museum, Stockholm. The exhibition was shown in the fall of 1988 at three locations in Japan: the Settagaya Art Museum, Tokyo; the Art Museum in Fukuoka; the Prefectural Museum, Nara. More than a third of the exhibition consisted of Swedish art. Discusses the preparation of the exhibition and the security as well as humidity control of the art works while in transit.
