Ample discussion of the so-called Devonshire hunting tapestries (Tournai?, Arras?) in London, Victoria and Albert Museum. Argues that they were commissioned by John Talbot, 1st earl of Shrewsbury. The first two were manufactured ca.1425, the third one some 25 years later; the fourth is somewhat different stylistically.
