Discusses a series of German Expressionist exhibitions that took place in Blomqvists kunstsalong, Kristiania (Oslo): Die Brücke in May 1908, Der Blaue Reiter in January 1914 and a joint show of works by Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter in May-June 1916. Argues that the influence of the German Expressionists on Norwegian painting has been ignored.
