Presents an unpublished manuscript (Milan, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, MS A 16) comprising writings and poems in praise of Francesco di Trento and the Eolia of his villa at Costozza. The poems and descriptions cast light on the spirit of humanism and antiquarian interests that informed the Eolia and on Trento's circle, known as the Accademia di Costozza, that met there; their intellectual and literary pursuits; and the fresco decorations of the Sala Apolline, by Giovanni Antonio Fasolo.
