Examines representations of Rome and its monuments in MS lat. 4915 of the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris, a mid-15th c. manuscript of the Mare historiarum of Giovanni Colonna commissioned by the Jouvenel des Ursins family, who were anxious to demonstrate their connection with the Italian Orsini.
