Abstract (en)
Analyzes surviving account books of Onser Liever Vrouwen Pand, the largest and most important art market of its time in Europe, which was built and operated by the church of Onze Lieve Vrouw, Antwerp. Combines the findings with information from other contemporary sources to provide an image of the Pand operation, and its scale, growth, and decline.
