On politics, culture, economics, and power in the United States following the Reagan revolution and its disastrous effects on the economy and cultural funding. Calls for a positive agenda for cultural activists of the left to counter conservative gains, and emphasizes the need for strategies to reunite art to social and democratic concerns and to educate citizens to recognize their implication in the formations of power.
