On the 19th c. Tuscan sculptor, his relationship to William Blundell Spence and sculptures by him of Spence's wife, especially her tomb now in the cemetery at Fiesole; notes that Spence's endorsement of Fantacchiotti in his guide to Florence attracted English and American patrons.
