On the portico of SS. Annunziata (Florence), attributed to Antonio Manetti Ciaccheri and dated 1452-53; focuses on the use of palmettes in the capitals, relating these to the columns of the vestibule of the Temple of Solomon and noting allusions to the Heavenly Jerusalem in the remodeling of SS. Annunziata and its relationship to the piazza.
