Thoughts on Impressionism and those museums participating in the exhibition Impressionism: selections from five American museums (Pittsburgh, Carnegie Museum; Minneapolis, Institute of Arts; Kansas City, Nelson-Atkins Museum; Saint Louis, Art Museum; and Toledo, Museum of Art, 1989-1990).
