Abstract (en)

Suggests that the iconography (Adam and Eve and the Annunciation) of the early 13th c. corbels on the north wall of the central courtyard of the castle was a response to the presence of a sizeable Jewish community in Trani during the reign of Frederick II, patron of the castle.
