On the Palazzo Dall'Armi-Marescalchi in Bologna in the 19th and 20th cs.; discusses transformations made by Ferdinando Marescalchi in the Napoleonic period, especially the creation of the gardens and alterations to the west wing of the palace; also examines the impact of city planning initiatives of the late 19th and early 20th cs. and the degradation of the complex until its restoration and occupation by the Soprintendenza since 1979.
