Authors describe their concept for The Cube Museum, an ironic and ideal alternative to existing museums. It is a utopian museum: the plan of a museum whose principles of construction are identical to those of its object. They presented this concept in the 1989 exhibition From the Cube Museum which included a variety of art works 1960s-1980s which utilize cubic forms (Hagen, Karl-Ernst-Osthaus-Museum).
