This supplemental issue of the journal serves as the catalogue for an exhibition of recent computer art presented by the Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics (SIGGRAPH), coordinated by Mark Resch, and shown at the Computer Museum, Boston (summer 1989). In addition to illustrations of all exhibited works, the catalogue includes an editorial by Resch and 14 articles on various aspects of computer art, including the medium's relation to mathematics, science, aesthetics, and the journal Leonardo.
