Abstract (en)

Discusses the insignia (14th-18th cs.) of the Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap, a confraternity in 's-Hertogenbosch. Pays particular attention to a triptych of the Virgin and Child painted in 1518 by Jacob Cornelisz. van Oostsanen (Aarle-Rixtel, Onze Lieve Vrouw Presentatie). The donor, Joris Sampson, is depicted here as a member of the confraternity.
