Account of the house in County Westmeath, built in the 1740s as a fishing lodge by architect Richard Castle. Briefly describes the 18th c. plasterwork and 18th-19th c. furnishings and gardens. Relates information about the builder, Robert Rochfort, First Earl Belvidere, his wife and descendants.
