Study of the early Byzantine marble sculpture from the 6th c. decorative program of Bishop Eufrasius in the cathedral complex at Poreč. Includes a catalogue organized according to function: capitals, imposts, bases, columns, and cappings; doorframes; chancel panels and pier-colonettes; altar, ambo, window transennae, and sarcophagi; and cathedra and synthronon. Includes a conclusion, which discusses how Eufrasius obtained the materials, and appendices on the altar inscription of Eufrasius, the baptistery ciborium, and the chancel enclosure.
