Offers praise and criticism to individuals and institutions for their parts in seeking to prevent or promote the export of Canova's Three Graces (1817) which is now housed in the space designed for it at Woburn Abbey. Reports that the sculpture is now in limbo, having been refused an export license but still "unsaved".
