Discusses the Hürnheim-Katzenstein family, their possessions, and the institutions they endorsed 1238-1442, among them Kloster Zimmern and Burg Katzenstein, seat of the family, 1260-1354. Focuses on a sales contract listing the names of the serfs that were the possession of Gertraud von Weineck, the last member of the family. Includes a reference to the sepulchral monument of Rudolf and Agathe Hürnheim-Katzenstein, in Kloster Zimmern, the founders of the Cistercian monastery.
