Chronicles Sonnier's career and analyzes his mixed media sculptural works, 1960s-1980s. Focuses on Sonnier's dualistic and paradoxical approach, especially his combination of contemporary Western high technology with ancient methods and natural materials common to traditional cultures seen today in the Third World.
