Briefly discusses the collections and collecting methods of eight of those collectors: Wendell Cherry, Barbara Piasecka Johnson, Peter Ludwig, Richard Manoogian, Dominique de Menil, Count Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, Saul Steinberg, and Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza.
