Discusses the decoration by Roland Holst in large hall of the building of the Supreme Court (Hoge Raad) of the Netherlands in The Hague (1938). The decoration, executed as marble in-lay work, comprises four lawgivers (Napoleon, Moses, Justinian, Solon), and symbols of justice.
