Discusses the architectural history of the "manège buildings", erected in the second quarter of the 18th c. Notes that it was the only part of the Baroque Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen that survived the fire of 1794. The architects directly involved were Elias David Häusser, Lauritz Thura and Nicolai Eigtved.
