Abstract (en)

Thoughts on Stanley William Hayter's contributions to printmaking, stimulated by the exhibition S.W. Hayter and Atelier 17 (Rome). A retrospective of Hayter's prints, together with some paintings and drawings, was shown at the Accademia di S. Luca. At the same time, prints produced at the Atelier 17 workshop in Paris (1927-1960) and New York (1940-1950) were shown at the Calcografia Nazionale.
