Discusses the simply carved tombstone and its inscription, composed by the abbot himself, in the monastery church of Aldersbach. Notes that the tomb contrasts with the more richly decorated tombs of his predecessors, executed by Jörg Gartner, and relates the conception of the tomb to the abbot's humanistic views.
