Refers to David Scrase's review of the exhibition Leonardo de Vinci, études de draperies (Paris, Louvre) in Burlington, 1990, 132, no 1043 (Feb). Argues that these drawings are not the product of a single mind but of a group of artists active in Verrocchio's workshop in the late 1460s and 1470s--including Leonardo.
