Abstract (en)

Descriptive introduction to the collection bequeathed to the Courtauld by Roger Fry. Points out that the group of objects is not the work of a serious collector, but rather "the incidental residue of a life devoted to the visual arts." The collection includes examples of the fine and decorative arts which range widely in date and place of manufacture. Checklist appended.
