Abstract (en)

Recent conservation of two terra cotta models provides evidence about Roubillac's technical procedures. The sculptures in question are the Model for a Monument to Henry Petty, Earl of Shelburne (Edinburgh, Royal Museum of Scotland) and the Model for the Monument to the Duke of Argyll (London, Victoria and Albert Museum).
