Identifies sources for porcelain groups modeled by Nicholas Sprimont. Focuses especially on Domenico Campagnola's 1530 woodcut Two Goats at the Foot of a Tree as the inspiration for Chelsea's Goat and Bee Jug and White Figure of a Finch (both 1745). Also discusses the use of Campagnola landscapes for printed decoration on a Chelsea teapot of 1756; and the use of Bernini sculptures for Chelsea's 1747-1748 group Boy Milking the Goat.
