Catalogue essays by Baarsen on the court style in Holland; Jackson-Stops on the court style in Britain; Johnston on the William and Mary style in America; and Dee on printed sources for the William and Mary style. Exhibition shown at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum (New York) and Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh).
