Account of Roycroft, the community of printers, metalworkers, and furniture makers founded in the early 1890s by Elbert Hubbard in East Aurora, NY. The community, known as manufacturers of "Mission oak" furniture, reached its peak in 1912-19, and was continued by Hubbard's son until 1938. Includes detailed descriptions of the construction of a ladies' writing desk.
