Reeexamines the problem of attribution and authenticity of Delacroix drawings resulting from the discovery of a false stamp, imprinted on both Delacroix and non-Delacroix drawings. Also reexamines the question of Andrieu's complicity in light of historical evidence concerning the drawings for the decoration of the Salon de la Paix of the Hôtel de Ville (Paris), casting some doubt on Andrieu's responsibility for the false stamp.
