Discusses a group of 15 drawings at Windsor Castle which have traditionally been given to Poussin 1622-1623, but have recently been denounced as mid-17th c. Roman copies. On the basis of a Jean Nivelle watermark found on five of the 15 drawings, the latest possible date of which is 1621, argues that the group should be readmitted to the autograph oeuvre of Poussin.
