On the recent restoration of the animal heads in bronze and copper from the facade of the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, installed during restorations carried out in the 1790s, to substitute for the original figures on the corbels. Presents evidence from documents identifying the artist as a member of the Cioci family, here thought to be Ulivo.
