Traces the history of a Norman church and its successive transformations, culminating in the addition of a bell tower over the facade, designed in a late 19th c. neo-Baroque style by Carlo Sada (1849-1924) but not begun until the 1950s and never completed. Proposes the removal of the reinforced-concrete superstructure and the restoration of the older stone parts of the building.
