Abstract (en)

Traces the history of the collection, formed in the late 18th c. by the brothers Antonio and Jacopo Danieli Tommasoni from excavations at the ancient city of Aenona (Nin, near Zadar) and other sites in Dalmatia, later inherited by the Danieli Pellegrini family, who sold it in 1859; the antiquities are now dispersed among various museums. Illustrates Roman sculptures now in the archaeological museum of Zadar.
