Studies the architectural history of S. Andrew's, Dublin, in light of the evidence of a collection of architectural drawings by Francis Johnston for additions, 1800-1804, to the church begun by John Hartwell, and of drawings by the Belfast firm of Lanyon and Lynn for a new church following the fire of 1860. (The drawings are in the collection of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, housed in the Irish Architectural Archive.)
